After yesterday’s poem and the creative immersion in anger, I had to take some time to refocus.  I felt rather guilty about indulging anger, especially since it did indeed feed upon itself and color the whole day.  Today I was trying to get right.  I had a committee meeting at the college this afternoon; in it, a consultant noted themes from various focus groups.  He paused on one quotation, “opportunity for serendipity.”  He chuckled and said he wasn’t sure what exactly it meant, but it stuck with him.  I wrote it down and decided to make it part of my work for today.  I hope you enjoy it: “Low-End Blessings.”
